A Day for the Community
Mustard Seed Ranch partners with the Upper Cumberland National Wildlife Turkey Federation Chapter to host JAKES (Juniors Acquiring Knowledge, Ethics, and Sportsmanship) Day. Over 2500 kids and their parents for the last six years have come to the Ranch to enjoy over 20 different activities to include; Archery, Paint Ball, Skeet Shooting, Rifle Range Bounce Houses, Rock Climbing Wall and Wild Life Exhibits. We also provide an NWTF hat for every kid and lunch for everyone. Everything is free for those who attend, all thanks to our amazing sponsors!
JAKES Day gives kids the opportunity to experience certain activities for the very first time and educates them about firearm safety and outdoor conservation. We are proud to share that our JAKES Day event won the national award for “Best JAKES Day” in the country for two years in a row! The support that local businesses and organizations give to make our event so successful is absolutely incredible! We couldn’t provide this amazing day for kids and families without their support.
